 Explore Our Specializations

  • We are in-network with Aetna, Carelon, United Healthcare, Optum, Anthem, and Quest. For all others, ask your PPO about out-of-network benefits for your plan as well as deductible requirements. We recommend signing up with Thrizer to help with claim submission and timely reimbursementsOur session fees range from $150-300 based on qualifications, location, and services offered.
  • While we anticipate having a psychiatrist on our team in the future, we currently refer clients out to recommended physicians for medications.
  • We strive to help you achieve your goals with empathy, expertise, and a touch of humor. At our core, we are each guided by respect and kindness in our interactions. What sets us apart is our focus on depth work, blending evidence-based interventions with compassionate care. Our approach values a balance of deep healing with practical strategies, including corrective experiences that help shift insecurities and heal past wounds. We create a nonjudgmental and inclusive space for you to feel accepted and understood.
  • Progress in therapy is tracked through a combination of goal-setting, symptom check-ins, and reflective exercises. Therapists may use formal assessments like the GAD-7 for anxiety, PHQ-9 for depression, OCD-specific questionnaires, and other symptom scales to monitor growth. These tools help identify areas of improvement, highlight challenges, and guide adjustments to ensure therapy is effective and personalized.
  • If assessments or symptom tracking show limited improvement, your therapist may adjust strategies, modify goals, or introduce new techniques. In some cases, they might suggest higher-level care, specialty referrals, or alternative treatment approaches to ensure therapy remains purposeful and productive. Our values and approach differ in that helping you reach your goals is a priority, sessions are handled intentionally, and the focus is on improving how you feel rather than continuing without meaningful movement.
  • Therapy is a safe space where your experiences are treated with understanding and respect. While you are welcome to use your session time as you prefer (including some venting if it helps!) we also incorporate therapeutic exercises, assessments, and practical tools to support meaningful changes, keeping sessions purposeful and productive.
  • We’re here to help you get the support you need. Your comfort, well-being, and progress are our top priorities. If another therapist or approach would more effectively support your growth, we fully encourage it. We want you to feel confident and supported every step of the way.
  • Just call or message us to schedule a 20-30 minute no-fee consult. We'll chat about your needs and goals, answer any questions about next steps, and which of our therapists we recommend for you.

Our Preferred Evidence-Based Treatments

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an empirically supported treatment that helps change distressing thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression. Through CBT, you'll learn to identify and challenge negative thoughts, reframe irrational beliefs, and replace them with healthier, more realistic perspectives. CBT also focuses on breaking patterns of self-doubt and worry by learning how to re-evaluate situations and adopt more constructive thinking. These tools empower you to make lasting changes in how you think and respond.

  • ERP is a structured therapy that helps reduce distress from obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. It involves gradual, guided exposure to feared situations or thoughts without doing the habits or rituals you usually do to feel better. This process helps decrease anxiety over time and breaks the cycle of obsessions and rituals. You remain fully present and supported throughout, learning new ways to tolerate discomfort and regain control. ERP is especially effective for OCD, skin picking, hair pulling, and related anxiety challenges. Sessions are available in person and via telehealth throughout California.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness principles to help individuals manage emotions, navigate challenges, and improve relationships. It focuses on four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. By building these skills, DBT empowers individuals to replace destructive patterns with practical, lasting strategies that promote resilience, balance, and a greater sense of control in daily life.

  • EMDR helps your brain reprocess stuck memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or intense. Unprocessed experiences can trigger or worsen anxiety, shame, distress, and physiological reactions. After EMDR, difficult experiences often feel neutral, distant, or easier to manage. We use techniques like eye movements or handheld tappers to activate both sides of the brain, supporting your brain’s natural ability to heal and make sense of the distressing experiences. Sessions follow a structured 8-phase protocol to help you build resilience and process memories, while fully awake and alert. EMDR is effective for distress related to loss, illness, trauma, childhood wounds, and relationship pain.
